this view makes me feel like a vampire is probably lurking some where. very mysterious.
can't wait to travel overseas. have you ever had a pen pal?
glad google comes with a translate option to help with some postcards. i took 4 yrs of spanish, but that does not help ... no postcards in spanish as of yet.
little pops of happiness - needed this one on a deary grey rainy day. so perfect!!!
this one gave me a great laugh. glad to know some folks still have a sense of humor.
this one would be a great painting for your wall. if only it could be like in the movie "mary poppins" & i jump into the painting. explore the view in person. fun times!!!

I had a pen pal once when I was 10....through school....we wrote a couple of letters and then I think the other girl got too busy...she was older than me. It kind of hurt my feelings, but I got over it.
Your post cards are so cool...but don't you worry about giving out your real name and address? I guess I'm paranoid.
I've never heard of Postcrossing before .... what a wonderful idea and such an assortment of cards from different corners of the world. Hope your week is going well.
I did have a pin pal once or twice when I was young... Can't remember who or where... But---have never done any postcard exchanges... That is neat that you do that. You have some great postcards--and I'll bet the stamps are terrific....
Hugs,
Betsy
My niece participated in post crossings...she has 4 kids and she hung a map and everytime they got a new post card they located the area where it came from and marked it with a push pin. Great learning experience.
All are great but I REALLY love the vintage holiday ones. How fun!
what i love is i find place i've never heard of ... like Belarus ... they were even in the Olympics. so exciting & fun!! ( :
I am not familiar with this, but am really interested. I might have to try it out!
I don't Beth but may start after looking at these! I never had a penpal but always wanted to. I feel I have a lot of pen pals since I started blogging.....a modern version of pen pals.

I like this. I've never heard of it, and I'd be terrible at it as for whatever reason I never manage to mail anything ( thank goodness for online bill pay) - but I think this is a really cool idea. I had a pen pal in elementary school. I think she lived in Scotland. It just sort of petered out - probably because I just can't seem to get around to mailing things. Oh well. Enjoy your cards!
This sounds like something I would really enjoy!
i forgot to say that when the hubs and i go away, we each send at least one postcard home. i write to him, he write to me. they are so fun to recieve days after you get home!!
you should hang some string/twine and use close pins to hang these somewhere, so you always see them!!
