i dislike SPAM with a passion. so i have no clue what is going on?
only thing i can say is SORRY. whether you take as a true apology i will never know, but it's meant to be taken that way.

yesterday i got to the DMV to renew my driver's license - all went well. got there at 10:03 am & was out by 10:27 am. that needs to go into the record books.

I have gotten those things that I thought were from you..I never did anything with them because I don't know anything about those groups and don't even understand all of that..I just go and visit blogs and leave comments..that's it.
Do you know how we are supposed to follow people when the friend connect goes away..How will we follow people?
Thankfully I got a ten years license here in Ga. because now they pretty much treat women kind of differently because we change our name when married. We have to prove who we are etc. It is apparently a huge problem. Have a lovely weekend. It has turned cold here again and I need to pull weeds anyways. xo, olive

In my experience, when I receive weird looking emails, supposedly from someone I know, I tell them... That their E-mail Contact List has been hacked.
Meaning, if they are on a Pc, bad guys can infect your Pc, and send weird emails, to everyone on your Contact List... And these weird emails LOOK LIKE they came from YOU.
Haven't you ever had this happen to you? Haven't you ever received weird emails from someone you email with.......? If you have not, you are lucky.
I'm on a Mac so it doesn't happen, but I think you have to do some sort of CLEAN out of viruses or something... If this is the reason that your computer is sending out emails, with the Subject Line, I said above.

No worries here, Beth. I think we ALL have to take responsibility for opening questionable emails. We can't control what goes out in "our" name, sad to say.
I got one from you too - but I get them from a lot of people - I am sorry someone hurt your feelings - we are supposed to be friends.
I did not hear the GFC was going away - what is going away is the google reader and the google home page. Did you hear GFC too?
I mean do we need google - I guess as our blogs are driven by them. Are they trying to force us to google+

Google Reader is going away in July. Haven't heard about Google Friend.. They probably want everyone on Google+ which I hate.

yeah, I got one of those too...but not to worry, I got one from someone else too. You would think these hackers would find something better to do!!
I actually got two different ones from you...or with your name...and I opened them both....tried to connect with the first one...but when it started asking me for info, I decided I didn't know anything about it and clicked off. Nothing has happened to my computer so far. The one I got today with the skill thing for the title, I just clicked off because I figured it was along the same line...nothing against you, my sweet, but just didn't ever hear of the business. I figured you would send me a personal email that sounded like you if it was important and you would explain what it was. :) We all know you if we have been following you for any length of time, and we KNOW you wouldn't do anything to hurt any of us. You're the best.
I got the one from Skillpages today and looked them up. It seems they got in trouble as recent as December for hacking into email. I don't know if you joined up with them but it appears they are sending emails to your contacts.
I also got one from Linkedin from 'you' and from one other blogger as well.
I've sent them to spam.
Funny that I should come across this post...Over the past two weeks I've received three email requesting that I join, LinkedIn, as well as a website called Skillpages, the latter of which I've never heard of. lol
Stuff like this happens.
LinkedIn is real (my hubby has an account), and the link attached to the email took me directly to their website.
All I did was unsubscribed to both. The end.
We have few virus worries (we run a Mac) so that's not an issue, and good spam filters, but sometimes stuff creeps through. No biggie.
