something on my mind:
my buddy Sally from "Sally Saw" ...I have not heard from her since last friday evening, telling me to link up her post for "InSPIREd Sunday" because her house was in the threat of the Washington state fires ...

I am concerned & worried about her ... I did send her an email and I've yet to hear back ... lift up a pray ... say a good word or two that all is well. hoping i will hear from her soon.

Sally are you there? ( :

Nice week review, Beth! It was nice to have some warmer weather this week. But our snow is not all gone yet.. Maybe after the weekend!
Wishing you a happy weekend!

Great idea and great to see you 'in the flesh' (so to speak). It's a huge commitment - so good luck with that. I've not had too much time to comment on others' posts this week, but love looking at them all. I did manage to get A Bit About Britain on Facebook - a huge achievement for me - and hope to develop that. One possible solution to your angry shopper conundrum, of course, is to beat them to a pulp; me, I get sarcastic (unless they're bigger than I am). Have a great week!

Great week in review. And no, I don't want my feet to grow anymore! I'm done with all that!

Wow this is going to be interesting. I liked the way you handled the grumpy old man at the express counter "toughed it out then left" smart.
That Cathedral in New Orleans is beautiful. B

Love your 'week in review'... It's nice to see videos of my friends --and makes me feel as if I know you better.

We've had a nice, warm week here ---and made it through the severe storms last night with no problems. I'm not sure that winter is finished with us yet though.

Hugs,
Betsy

I would have handled the grumpy man just the way you did. Good for you!

Our snow is almost gone, still some piles here and there but today's warmer weather will probably take care of them. I applaud you for taking on such a commitment with your video segments! And I LOVE the shot of the water in the state park. Lovely!

Our snow is diminishing rapidly, but there's still a lot more snow than bare ground.

Love the video, Beth. You're even cuter 'in person' than in your profile pic. And I love the accent!

Fun video Beth. As far as the grocery story? We've all been there...I wouldn't have said anything either UNTIL a remark was made. I find that other people just assume you are "ONE OF THOSE" people going thru the express lane not thinking that MAYBE the clerk called you over.

Loved your review, at least as much as I had time for. I need to get to the post office! Take care and have a super weekend!

Cute idea, Beth..I've been "invited" by a clerk to go to the express lane as well..You did the right thing..People are getting shot for less..Have a good weekend..

I can see clearly now that we need to go back to Natchez when we can stay a while. Have a great weekend!!

I enjoyed your week in review!! I have had a similar situation in a store and twice, I "very kindly" mentioned it to the waiting customer behind me that the clerk had called me over!! I am always respectful of the 12 items or less check out lanes, I like the self check outs!

That was a no win situation at the grocery store. Beautiful photos, especially liked the train garden.

I like the idea of the week in review. Our snow has gone from about 3 inches to nothing in one day with our surprise thaw.
