Hello Beth, gorgeous views of Glacier and the mountains.. It was one of my favorite parks to visit.. Lovely photos. I wish you all the best in 2015.. Happy New Year!
Ah yes, Glacier. We went with great expectations of taking a great many of great pictures...nope. But we did see a bear up close and got some video of that.
Beautiful! I've never been there and would love to go sometime. So many places to see...my bucket list is very long! Hope you had a nice Christmas, Beth, and that you have the best new year ever! Happy 2015!!
"Lincoln's New Salem" , Petersburg, Illinois. Can we just say 1st how difficult it is to spell ILLINOIS. nuts!! I think it is even easier to spell MISSISSIPPI. right??! We were told about this site, thanks to a tour guide in Colorado, he said there is a man who works here that look just like Abe Lincoln himself during his young years. Now if you know anything about me, I LOVE HISTORY. 2nd I love anything Abe Lincoln, he's one of my most favorite presidents ever. So I was super excited to meet this gentleman, do you think he was working the day we visited? nope, any ways... A lovely walk & we had fun seeing all the animals. I wonder why we live in such big homes, this one above shows a nice size home all you need in one little room. Less space, less money to pay each month. Sounds good to me!!! Bass Pro Shop, "Memphis Pyramid", in Tennessee. We always enjoy visiting Brass Pro Shops around the USA. They are so always so creative, all different and interesting to see what they will be sharing. We are not fisher people. we just can appreciate the business. All sorts of games to play. Shopping. Lodging. Restaurants. In the brochure you can get at the front door this quote can be seen... "Ride the tallest freestanding elevator in America. Experience a ride to the top of the Pyramid in the 28-story glass elevator. Once you are at the top, stand on glass-floored observation decks that offer 360-degree views 300 feet above Memphis and the Mississippi River." (we didn't do this, it does cost extra doe to ride on up. but fun to see from the bottom looking up.) A must see if you are in the Memphis,TN. area. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your day! This was my 2nd trip to the "Biltmore" Estates. Last visit was in November (not sure of the year?, but I was not blogging at the time.) Photos are only allowed outside the home. NEVER INSIDE. Which I was hoping they would allow photos of the Downton Abbey clothing but nope. no go. Not sure how other folks who have shown pics on their blog of the outfits have gotten past those rules???! The positive is my Mom & I have lots of great fun memories. We went as an early birthday present for me thanks to my hubby & my parents. So sweet! Mom & I had a fun girls times together. I knew the Downton Abbey clothing would be there until May 25th, 2 days after my birthday... so I wanted to go before they left & my Mom is a super Downton Abbey fan ...it was a must see for the both of us. So so fun!!! What I love about this home, you drive into that gatehouse at the top & then suddenly you lose all the traffic, the ci
