Golden Covered Bridge, British Columbia, Canada

So the hubby knew of this covered bridge "Golden", ...we were trying to get close, up & down several roads. But this was not to be. Some kids were getting off of the school bus ...it was a busy back road ...but we found the bridge ...not a close up view but so pretty all the same. The is a covered pedestrian bridge, which goes over the Kicking Horse River. 46 meters long. Built in 2001 by the community out of 72,000 board feet of Douglas-fir timber.  Beth ( :

Good morning, Beth! What a pretty covered bridge. I like the green roof! The name of the river Kicking Horse is cool too. Great shot! Have a happy day and week ahead!
Ha! Love the name 'Kicking Horse River.' Beautiful photo. You should start a bridge meme too, Beth. I wonder if there is one. Have a great Monday.

Hey, Beth....covered bridges always remind me of The Bridges of Madison County....loved that movie.
It is a very unusual bridge isn't it. Great to see it! xx
Lovely photo! Love the mountains in the background!

This is a sweet covered bridge. So neat that the community built it.

This is an absolutely gorgeous bridge. Where in BC is this. Your shot is lovely , but too bad you couldn't get right up to it and walk across. Would love to see this.
