Margaret Falls, Canada

Margaret Falls, is a great hike. Even handicap accessible. How do I know that? Well, I was super happy to see a lady in her wheel chair able to see this view. I always worry that everyone is not always able to get to super great views due to the accessible. Sometimes it is all rocky & not passing. There was even a man working on the pathway, due some rotting wood ...so they do keep it walk-able.

I haven't been to Canada, but every time I see photos like those you have posted here and others of the various cities, it makes me want to visit there. Margaret Falls looks to be one of those "off the beat" hidden jewels. Loved your video! I have missed many things on some of my favorite blogs, including your birthday. I have had a lot going on and writing and visiting have been very much put on the back burner, what with family obligations and other things. I hope your special day was beautiful and blessed!

Hi Beth, Another pretty hike and I loved the video. Pretty waterfall and I liked the little bridge too. It's nice that those with challenges can enjoy the sights as well. me

What a beautiful place! I love waterfalls. We saw many on our trip to the Smokies. To me, it's amazing that no two are even slightly the same. I guess water works in mysterious ways. Enjoyed the video.

Love this place, Beth. A photographers dream for sure the way those trees lean above the pathway. Very nice!

Beth, it is good to see that in some places nature takes it's course with no human interruption. And of course the falls are awesome.

It is a beautiful waterfall. And very good that they can find ways to make some places wheelchair accessible. A couple of trails in Algonquin Park are like that.

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :
i wonder who will take over the mill? he was having issues with the folks who wanted t…

Biltmore, Asheville, North Carolina

This was my 2nd trip to the "Biltmore" Estates. Last visit was in November (not sure of the year?, but I was not blogging at the time.) Photos are only allowed outside the home. NEVER INSIDE. Which I was hoping they would allow photos of the Downton Abbey clothing but nope. no go. Not sure how other folks who have shown pics on their blog of the outfits have gotten past those rules???!
The positive is my Mom & I have lots of great fun memories. We went as an early birthday present for me thanks to my hubby & my parents. So sweet! Mom & I had a fun girls times together. I knew the Downton Abbey clothing would be there until May 25th, 2 days after my birthday... so I wanted to go before they left & my Mom is a super Downton Abbey fan ...it was a must see for the both of us. So so fun!!!
What I love about this home, you drive into that gatehouse at the top & then suddenly you lose all the traffic, the city sounds & noise ...you drive through the farm …

Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, Hayward, Wisconsin

"Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame", Hayward, Wisconsin. i am not a fisherwoman, but i have always been amazed by folks who do fish. all the hard work you do to make those stats. i must say i would prefer to see all these fish in the sea. not on the wall like this ...but what can you do? have you ever seen any of these fish alive before? this salmon above is so cool!!

did i mention that the hubby had a speed boat when we 1st started dating. it was awesome. but i always thought it needed to go FASTER. i love a fast boat. then the goober sold the thing. i miss it big time. he got rid of it because we didn't use it enough. kind of hard when you don't live near any BIG bodys of water. guess we need to move. he loved all the boat motors at this place. i now own a huge SD card of boat motors, what??! yep, i do. any one else in the world who can say that, can YOU say the same thing???!!!??!!!!

do you love to fish? Beth ( :
