Ayres Natural Bridge Park, Douglas, Wyoming

"Ayres Natural Bridge Park, Douglas, Wyoming". This is a perfect park for a picnic or hike. So so pretty. We took one our sheep with us & were asked by a couple bikers what we were carrying. See there was a sign at the beginning of the park, saying NO DOGS. Guess they thought we were carrying a mini dog around in our arms, nope just a stuffed Serta sheep. it was too funny!! Beth ( :

Tee hee. But I guess the Serta sheep does look a bit like a small dog. ;)

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :
