Hello Beth, that is a cool windmill. It is neat seeing one in Iowa. Have a happy day!
What a surprise that must be to unsuspecting drivers!

I'd love to step inside the windmill and climb the stairs to see the inner workings.
Hello, Beth!
The windmill is really beautiful!
But I may be partial, I have (very) far Danish ancestors. :)
Have a lovely day!

Beth, must be some Dutch folks in that area, seeing the windmill. It looks like one we photographed in Germany, just across the way from Amsterdam.

I didn't know the Danes also had a thing for windmills.

Excellent - you don't see too many of those; not outside Denmark, anyway.

Did you go inside? I so would love to see one in real life, from inside and the outside. I just love the looks of them.

Windmills are fun buildings. Not many around here, but I remember seeing one in Manitoba a few years ago. Great photos.

Kayaking it

We really lucked out to go kayaking on this trip while we were staying at Davy Crockett State Park, TN. So you know ... I have yet to fall out of my kayak .... KNOCK ON WOOD ... knock on your head ...whatever!! My hubby this kayaking trip slipped once going into this kayak right off the bat and then the kayaking completely flipped over was a real COLD adventure but so so cold. & our camping friends ...who don't go kayaking often were wanting to help the hubby but I had it under control ...I had water come up and over the kayak ... I am guessing that would be a good reason to have a skirt on your kayak. Wonder if I could do that on my kind of kayak? Not sure ...but it was so so cold. We made it back all in one piece.
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you did enjoy your visit. Thank you for your comments and friendship. ENJOY YOUR DAY!! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( :

So many bikes, so many unique ones to see and just drool over. Are you a bike fan? If you can remember your childhood, what was the must have bike of that year, I bet it is here in mint condition. So fun!! Harley Davidson made bikes, not just Harleys??! Who knew? So many creators, just so so much history. Are you a history buff, I don't remember all these dates, maybe you could or can? Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care!!! Beth ( ;
