"Ludlowville Falls", Lansing, New York. There was no wait to see this waterfall, we were the only ones in sight. a quaint little area. You park, walk through the grass and BAM this waterfall is just there. It is amazing!!! It would be a great spot to take in some views & a bite to eat. Check out the video below. So fun!!! Beth ( :

Another falls video, just for me! You do the falls, and I do the lighthouses, so we have this water thing covered, girlfriend!

This is one beauty of a waterfall. I am glad there weren’t lots of people there when you were there. You were lucky. Nice video. That water makes a lot of noise.
Looks like a great waterfall find!

Hi Beth and thanks for popping over to England. Now if I didn't know better that could almost be the Niagara Falls except I can't see any maids in the misty waters.

Loretta Lynn's Ranch, Hurricane Mills, Tennessee

"Loretta Lynn's Ranch", 8000 Highway 13 South, Hurricane Mills, Tennessee 37078. I have always loved Loretta Lynn's country style music. She is just a legend ...so I knew when the hubby suggested we stay in her campground, I was super excited. I assumed that when you would be staying at her campground, it would sort of be included in the stay price to see all her treasures and tours. Nope, to see anything of the museum or anything else, you would have to pay even more to see her home, museum or bus, etc. WHAT??!! So we walked around and saw what we could see for free, then headed to the campground. I am a very experienced camper ... I have stayed at really pricey campgrounds and very cheap campgrounds ... so we have been there done that, kind situation. So the price we paid I would have thought the campground would have been in better condition. & it was such a letdown that it was not that great.

Point Lookout State Park, Maryland & area lighthouses

Where we stayed: Point Lookout State Park, Maryland

Fort Lincoln, located within Point Lookout State Park. The only original part that is still at the location is the white barrier wall, all buildings are new, I guess the weather and winds are rough on fort.

Here is a vlog from that day of the sunset view from the state park & a coastline view from Fort Lincoln. I can so see why the fort was so in needs of repair, the winds there are so violent.

I will say that Maryland has pretty tough lighthouses to get to up close, usually you can get better shots, instead of through fences and all that jazz, but at least you can sort of see them? RIGHT??! Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Enjoy these views. Plan a trip soon, such a gorgeous area of Maryland. Beth  ( :

Grayson Highlands State Park & VA Creep Trail, Virginia

I was going to do 2 separate posts for this camping trip but it was only very quick weekend trip back in July of this year. Enjoy the vlogs from that day. We had a ball, such a great trip!!
1st part was our hike on Wilburn Ridge. 2nd day was our bike trip on the VA Creeper Trail. I think one of the most uncomfortable parts of the trip is riding in a huge van with people you have not a clue who they are... you just know that you are going to all be riding the trail. They van you up the mtn & you bike back to Damascus, VA. It is a 17 mile bike trip. Very easy. Not too much work at all.
One of our favorite state parks to camp at in VA is "Grayson Highlands State Park". We love this area 'cause you have the opportunity to bike the "Virginia Creeper Trail". Yes, we did make another hike adventure to "Wilburn Ridge". If you click each those names it will take you to our previous trip back in 2015. We took this trip in July of this year. What we love ab…
