Sol Duc Falls, Olympic National Park, Washington

We left the Lake Crescent Lodge after our lunch (that above is the view from our table, always ask for the best water view!!!) & took a huge long hike to the "Sol Duc Falls".

Can you believe it is February? Hello, February. Welcome!!!

I was very excited to get to hike there because after the meal we had just had I felt I needed to work off a few pounds. Olive (the sheep) went with us, she is quite the conversation starter. I really found that when touring this park & as well in California when we got to see the Redwood trees, it is so tough to get a shot of these monstrous trees so it can give you the magnitude of how huge they are, they are just so so big. No joke you can be moved to tears, I mean the trees in Virginia are gorgeous, but to think how long it took a tree of this size to grow and live, it just mind blowing to me. AMAZING!!!

Please check out this vlog from the waterfall hike. Beth ( :

Thanks for finding another beautiful waterfall (and a restaurant with a view) for us to enjoy.
So glad to see "Olive" again and to hear how emotional you get about the Redwoods...I did the same thing when I went to see the Blue Ridge all teary eyed!...:)JP

That's a good idea. Everything needs a little perspective. The conversation and potential laughs are a bonus.

Kayaking it

We really lucked out to go kayaking on this trip while we were staying at Davy Crockett State Park, TN. So you know ... I have yet to fall out of my kayak .... KNOCK ON WOOD ... knock on your head ...whatever!! My hubby this kayaking trip slipped once going into this kayak right off the bat and then the kayaking completely flipped over was a real COLD adventure but so so cold. & our camping friends ...who don't go kayaking often were wanting to help the hubby but I had it under control ...I had water come up and over the kayak ... I am guessing that would be a good reason to have a skirt on your kayak. Wonder if I could do that on my kind of kayak? Not sure ...but it was so so cold. We made it back all in one piece.
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you did enjoy your visit. Thank you for your comments and friendship. ENJOY YOUR DAY!! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( :

So many bikes, so many unique ones to see and just drool over. Are you a bike fan? If you can remember your childhood, what was the must have bike of that year, I bet it is here in mint condition. So fun!! Harley Davidson made bikes, not just Harleys??! Who knew? So many creators, just so so much history. Are you a history buff, I don't remember all these dates, maybe you could or can? Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care!!! Beth ( ;
