Patrick's Point State Park, California





I loved this park, I am drooling over the shots now ...trying to decide what to share. This evening was just a perfect time. Back in Sept 2015. It was peaceful and a fun walk around the whole park. Loved the exercise. This was one of the last trips I used my old camera, which is now dead. A sad loss, but I have those to remember it by.

oh beth, you did really well with these. i too, also have a hard time deciding what to share, i take so many pictures. i adore the first one, with the grasses, it has such beautiful depth. sorry to hear about your camera, we do become attached, but you will develop the same love with this one!!!

"Bar U Ranch" , National Historic Site. Established in 1882, it was huge ranching operation  "even more info here." .  if you know anything about me, you will know I have always wanted to live on a farm, own a farm, have horses, cows, dogs, cats, garden, fields, quiet & peace the whole 9 or is it 10 yards. Shady Valley, TN

  Backbone Rock Tunnel, Shady Valley, Tennessee "spur ridge on Holston Mtn that abruptly ends at a bend in Beaverdam Creek. tunnel was drilled through rock in 1901 to allow railroad access between Shady Valley and Damascus, Virginia" Hey There, don't ya love it when you are driving along and find a neat spot? …this tunnel was a busier road, got to see it from both sides of the road ...very cool.
