Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church

This week we are checking out the Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church, Founded 1839, I sure hope that there were no more other churches in that area, we always try to check them out when traveling. I love this one best of all 3 you have seen most recently ... I did try to get all the awesome views ... look at all those details. So cool!!! Please join us at "InSPIREd Sunday". Thank you for stopping by today. Be Well & Be Blessed!! Take care. Beth ( ;

I'll give you that, it is probably the best one. Love how they built it on the side of a hill and the interior is so simple

I like all the simple lines in this church. The cross on the floor is something I've never seen before.

Cute, small church.
Beautiful pictures.
Greetings.

Grayson Highlands State Park & VA Creep Trail, Virginia

I was going to do 2 separate posts for this camping trip but it was only very quick weekend trip back in July of this year. Enjoy the vlogs from that day. We had a ball, such a great trip!!
1st part was our hike on Wilburn Ridge. 2nd day was our bike trip on the VA Creeper Trail. I think one of the most uncomfortable parts of the trip is riding in a huge van with people you have not a clue who they are... you just know that you are going to all be riding the trail. They van you up the mtn & you bike back to Damascus, VA. It is a 17 mile bike trip. Very easy. Not too much work at all.
One of our favorite state parks to camp at in VA is "Grayson Highlands State Park". We love this area 'cause you have the opportunity to bike the "Virginia Creeper Trail". Yes, we did make another hike adventure to "Wilburn Ridge". If you click each those names it will take you to our previous trip back in 2015. We took this trip in July of this year. What we love ab…

North Bend Park, Virginia

North Bend Park, John H. Kerr Dam, Virginia. It was kind of rainy, kind of sunny. partly cloudy. It was a bit iffy, but we still made time to kayaking. Had a ball. The clouds & sun were playing on the waters, what great times to take photos. ( O : =
This area has so many different campground on different parts of the dam/lake. I believe this is the 3 different one we have visited so far, I'm sure the hubby has the others in the plans for later on... never know what he has up his selves. giggles. ( ;
