You might be curious as to why we did go to so many distilleries, well I truly think you need to check this one because, WELL BECAUSE IT WAS FREE??! Yep, not sure how they do it, not sure? But when we did visit there was no charge for an amazing visit. The tour was one of the best, most detailed and the treats you get too sample are just amazing. We had to buy some of those chocolates they do sell. My hubby was like you do realize that each chocolate is worth $1.00 each? I know it, Let me tell ya, they are the best chocolates you will ever have and they taste like bourbon. So so so so so so so so so SO SO SO good!!! You maybe be asking, Beth what did you get from this distillery, well we did purchase those I got have another box of those chocolates but not sure when we will be getting to Kentucky again any time soon & a bottle of their chocolate liquor. SO SO GOOD!! Like a great dessert in a bottle. (I just ran to the frig to get the correct name...) "Chocolate Bourbon Ball Cream Liqueur" and it is just a heavenly delicious drink for something 2 have just to feel like you are eating some chocolate but not really, so yummy!!! Hello, FREE? You can't beat that. I would like the chocolate and the chocolate liquor, YUM! If I ever get to Kentucky, I will check it out.

Quite an imposing looking building!

In regards to your question, I just organize my pics through Blogger's usual site as opposed to a third party site. I store my pics in email accounts that only serve for that purpose.

Kentucky is known for its bourbon, so this makes sense. Hmmm... Barton is my maiden name. I wonder if I can cash in! :-)

  Backbone Rock Tunnel, Shady Valley, Tennessee "spur ridge on Holston Mtn that abruptly ends at a bend in Beaverdam Creek. tunnel was drilled through rock in 1901 to allow railroad access between Shady Valley and Damascus, Virginia" Hey There, don't ya love it when you are driving along and find a neat spot? …this tunnel was a busier road, got to see it from both sides of the road ...very cool. Lincoln's New Salem, Petersburg, Illinois

"Lincoln's New Salem" , Petersburg, Illinois. Can we just say 1st how difficult it is to spell ILLINOIS. nuts!! I think it is even easier to spell MISSISSIPPI. right??! We were told about this site, thanks to a tour guide in Colorado, he said there is a man who works here that look just like Abe Lincoln himself during his young years. Now if you know anything about me, I LOVE HISTORY. 2nd I love anything Abe Lincoln, he's one of my most favorite presidents ever. So I was super excited to meet this gentleman, do you think he was working the day we visited? nope, any ways... A lovely walk & we had fun seeing all the animals. I wonder why we live in such big homes, this one above shows a nice size home all you need in one little room. Less space, less money to pay each month. Sounds good to me!!!
