Algonac State Park, Marine City, MI

Hey there folks! Let's check out: Algonac State Park, Marine City, Michigan ...if you know anything about the hubby & myself ...we love so many amazing states ...here are a few that really mean so much to us:

1. Virginia & West Virginia,
2. Montana & Wyoming,
3. Maine & Michigan

... those are our top 3. So every time we get to Michigan ...it is like we are home again. There is not a location in Michigan we have visited that has not made us love it even more. This state park is just so amazing. Check out how close that water traffic is to the campground. You can just watch it go by ...so cool. & Right over that water way is Canada!! SO Close, SO Cool!! We saw tugboats, huge barges, tiny boats, all sorts. I think that is a huge reason why the fiberglass rally has continued to be held there over and over! I am one who enjoys going to new rallies every time, we have yet to go to the same one over, but you know what? I think I would consider going to this rally again next year just for the view, the people, the amount of events around there to check out!!! One of the most important pieces of that puzzle, how much we love Canadians. If you wanna know why? I would be glad to tell ya why, But the Americans might be a bit jealous or envious??! We Love Canadians oh so much, I just hope they love us just as much?!!! ( ;

The 2nd shot is a bike way / walk way that you can walk or bike along right a hop skip and a jump away from the state park. It is so neat, I only wish it was a longer trail. So fun!! Gorgeous views!

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you are well and having a great week so far. Take Care! Be Well & Be Blessed! Beth ( ;

Quite a pleasant looking spot.
So happy you can do so much traveling! Glad Virginia is high on your list! We consider it our "second" home. Alabama is our first. We always thought we would retire to Virginia, but life is full of twists and turns! Have a great week!

It does look like a very pretty area. - I think it's great you have favorite spots to visit. Have you ever visited Washington State? I think you would fall in love with it.

Kayaking it

We really lucked out to go kayaking on this trip while we were staying at Davy Crockett State Park, TN. So you know ... I have yet to fall out of my kayak .... KNOCK ON WOOD ... knock on your head ...whatever!! My hubby this kayaking trip slipped once going into this kayak right off the bat and then the kayaking completely flipped over ...it was a real COLD adventure ...fun but so so cold. & our camping friends ...who don't go kayaking often were wanting to help the hubby but I had it under control ...I had water come up and over the kayak ... I am guessing that would be a good reason to have a skirt on your kayak. Wonder if I could do that on my kind of kayak? Not sure ...but it was so so cold. We made it back all in one piece.
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you did enjoy your visit. Thank you for your comments and friendship. ENJOY YOUR DAY!! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( :

So many bikes, so many unique ones to see and just drool over. Are you a bike fan? If you can remember your childhood, what was the must have bike of that year, I bet it is here in mint condition. So fun!! Harley Davidson made bikes, not just Harleys??! Who knew? So many creators, just so so much history. Are you a history buff, I don't remember all these dates, maybe you could or can? Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care!!! Beth ( ;
