Byram Swinging Bridge

Hey friends, are you a lover of bridges? We love going and seeing old bridges, ones that are now just for decoration, maybe for folks who enjoy fishing or just to walk across ...such fun! I am not sure if you are like my hubby, he love jumping on bridges like this ...me I love walking really slow, just thinking about feeling grateful, in the moment and just enjoying the day. I feel sort of drunk if the bridge start moving too much, gives me a very odd feeling, I never had a problem with heights as a kid, but as an adult it has changed a bit, I would not say I have a fear, but a difference of opinion on height comforts??! I think it is partly an inner ear/sinus thing??! Byram Swinging Bridge, Byram, Mississippi, built in 1905. Apparently they do have a Bridge Festival, not sure if that happens every year or not, but I found a website, but didn't see a year?! For more information please go "here"!!! Thanks for stopping by, hope you are well this week. Take care. Be Well & Be Blessed. Beth ( ;

Hello, I love the bridges and the views from bridges. I am with you when they start bouncing, I feel wobbly. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!

This is pretty. I am quite cautious about which bridge I will walk across, especially a swinging one.

I love the bridge. And boy, have I changed about heights, too...I climbed all over our barn when I was a kid. didn't matter the height. I climbed down out of half the apple trees in the orchard at work over the 19 years I worked there...and I might still could do these things with my hands on something. But I could not get up and walk on our roof with ease....I doubt I would even stand up on it.
A wonderful swinging bridge! You don't seem them like this often. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Briery Creek Lake, Farmville, Virginia

Taking a break from our trips, to talk about a recent kayaking trip. We have had so much rain here in Virginia in the month of May. It has been so green. The funny thing is how the weather folks keep saying we are in a drought??! WHAT??! So on Monday May 9th, we took a day trip to "Briery Creek Lake", Farmville, VA. At this area there was a sign about "Trophy Largemouth Bass", so if you are fan, you might wanna check out. We are not fisherpeople, just love the kayaking experience. It was a gorgeous day! I was trying to get the picture of the osprey, the water was thinking otherwise, but I did ok... in the video below you will hear birdies, I did try to capture the osprey, but the silly bird stopped singing, it was such an interesting sound. chirp? tweet? Why does nature not working me with me, please?

Please enjoy this vlog of that day. Thanks, for stopping by, hope you enjoy the trip. Beth ( ;

Sculptures at Hershey Gardens

Such amazing sculptures there at "Hershey Gardens" ... let's check them out. As I say there are so many areas to walk around there at the gardens ...gorgeous trees to stand under if you are dealing with lots of sun. Great shades. Herb gardens, a perfect place for great visit no matter the season. So fun!! I think my favorite will be the butterfly girl ...she just looks so happy and free. 2nd fave is the girl smelling the rose. Thank you for stopping by. Hope you are well today. Take care. Please enjoy the vlog from that day. You can hear lots of bugs and birds. We just hopped into the waters behind our campsite and just rowed away. We have 2 other couples who did borrow our kayaks to enjoy these waters as well. So fun. I love going out on waters to enjoy the day and take some pics. There are duck families every where, but they didn't like it when you got close ...s…
