New Presque Isle Lighthouse, Michigan

Had to do a bit of some research there are 3 different lighthouses with similar names, just so you know this is: New Presque Isle Lighthouse, Michigan. I recall now when doing this research that the hubby did say that there were several with the same name, made at different times and only this 1 was easy enough at the season to get close enough, if I am thinking of the right lighthouse, 1 you have to do some off-roading to even see it up close, I think some real walking too ... this is the New one. Built in 1870, east of the Grand Lake, sits on the namesake peninsula. it is one of the 149 lighthouses in Michigan. Can you imagine, that many lighthouses, I gotta go see what Virginia has??! I can not imagine that mean. Michigan is just too cool!!! 4500 E Grand Lake Road, Presque Isle, MI 49777, height: 108', (989) 595-9917. What was super cool about the internet while finding all these tidbits ... there is a 360 (or is it 460 view, any who??! I think you know what I mean.) view inside the home there ... when we visited there was only 1 other couple, they were closed for the season so it was fun to see the inside, very interesting. LOVE that!! Thank you for stopping by. Hope you are well. Take care. Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( ;

Very nice! Virginia has some nice ones, but if we have that many, some are a newer style that looks industrial instead of pretty.
