G.H.S.P. Old Log Homes

This visit we found all these amazing old homes on the Grayson Highland S.P. property ...I am still working on the research ...hoping 2 find out more? On the state parks website is not much info. only chats about their camping sites and sort of tips??! Apparently these homes (land) were sold to the Commonwealth of Virginia way about in 1969. They were just rapping (or cleaning up) up a Bluegrass Festival that day were were checking them out, it was the evening after we had gone and rode the VA Creeper Trail, so we were super exhausted not wishing to really jam out but just take the time to see these beauties and takes some pics was a nice calming end to that day.

Check out these past posts from different trips to Grayson Highland State Park, Virginia: "Oct 31, 2016", "Sept. 17, 2015" & "Sept 14, 2015" (those dates are when I did post not when were did visit, just so you know. Maybe it will make you wanna make a planned trip, you will so love every second, making lots of memories, be sure to take lots of pictures!!) Thanks for stopping by. Take Care! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Hello, they are cute log homes. I like the combination of log and stone homes.
Enjoy your day!

Those homes are fascinating to visit, but Oh,am I ever glad I don't have to live in something like that.
