Unknown Bloom? Just Kayakin' . . .

I am not sure what kind of blooms these are but it is fun to try and get close to them and get some shots! Enjoy! I had to laugh at the struggle to steady myself, but it is like a new talent that I love trying to work on each time??! So fun. Did I tell you about an author who loves to read while kayaking? I don't think I am ready to give up my camera for reading??! Maybe one day, for now I am happy with my camera times!!! More water views while kayaking at Golden Beach Campground, New York, have a great day. i appreciate your comments. see ya again real soon. Beth ( ;

You get some great shot while on the water. I would be too busy being half scared to deaths there would be no time for pictures.LOL

I know what that is but I'll be darned if I can think of the name of it right this minute. Beautiful shots as always. I would not be reading while kayaking. I'd rather see the scenery and take pictures. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Enjoy your week

i have not seen you around in forever but i now see you have not been gone at all! i think the last comment you left for me seemed like maybe you were going through a difficult time. i don't know what the flower is, but it is beautiful and as you know, my favorite color. i am happy to read that you have been out in the water, doing what you love most!!

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :

Pyramid Lake Resort

We had dinner at "Pyramid Lake Resort". We were camping at the Wapiti campground within Jasper National Park. We were so happy to find the restaurant ...some times we just head thinking we want to find the 1st great looking place to try out. & thankfully this was a great pick, check out these views we got to see while eating this fabulous meal. This meal was one of the best meals we had all of our whole Canadian trip. It was a amazing!! 1. appetizer, 2. I had halibut, 3. hubby had elk, and 4. was the pyramid chocolate yummyness. it was delicious!! Are you now hungry? Beth ( :
