Fort Clinch take 2

I have so many amazing beachfront shots ... I had to share more. Please ENJOY! At Fort Clinch you can go bike or driving, check out their must see sights, so fun!!! ...whichever you might prefer to do to get around the campground to see these must see views. We took our bikes and rode around ... you can see different views of the water. You never know what kind of ship or critter u might see??!

STORY TIME:
You know how they will show folks riding on the beach ...maybe it has to do with what kind of tires you have? I don't know ...but riding on the sand is not easy ...so many factors have to work together to make it a great experience ... not to soft of sand? not to hard? Like the Goldilocks of sand??! It will always get stick your wheels (tires) and a real mess to clean up? You don't wanna miss up your bike? gears? pairs, etc!!??! Just be safe ...that is all I am saying. It can and is a real workout!!

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you did enjoy your visit. Thank you for your comments and friendship. ENJOY YOUR DAY!! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( :

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :

Biltmore, Asheville, North Carolina

This was my 2nd trip to the "Biltmore" Estates. Last visit was in November (not sure of the year?, but I was not blogging at the time.) Photos are only allowed outside the home. NEVER INSIDE. Which I was hoping they would allow photos of the Downton Abbey clothing but nope. no go. Not sure how other folks who have shown pics on their blog of the outfits have gotten past those rules???!
The positive is my Mom & I have lots of great fun memories. We went as an early birthday present for me thanks to my hubby & my parents. So sweet! Mom & I had a fun girls times together. I knew the Downton Abbey clothing would be there until May 25th, 2 days after my birthday... so I wanted to go before they left & my Mom is a super Downton Abbey fan ...it was a must see for the both of us. So so fun!!!
What I love about this home, you drive into that gatehouse at the top & then suddenly you lose all the traffic, the city sounds & noise ...you drive through the farm …
