Nothing Runs Like A Deere?

Hey there, Who love tractors like ME? As a young kid I remember riding with my Dad and even my Pop-Pop (my Dad's Dad.) on their tractors, they always had John Deere tractors, much smaller than these, but green (or is it greene?) all the same was so fun!! The noise, I felt like I was really helping them mow the lawn was such a great time. Such memories. I must admit I got a bit emotional seeing all these tractors? Is that just a Beth thing? Maybe I am just sentimental over family times??! More tractors next week? Do you have a favorite kind of tractor? Color of tractors you might love? Special memory you might wanna share with me? Please do. I would love that. <3

I grew up with nothing but John Deere tractors.My Dad wouldn't have had it any other way.

I grew up in the countryside around farms, so they were a fairly common sight to have around.

We had a John Deere when I was a kid...the kind that makes the put-put...and the clutch was a gear stick...not a pedal. Then when I work at the orchard all those years, I drove a John Deere. Actually two different John Deeres....they had a motor big/strong enough to pull a 500 gallon sprayer through the orchard....but the second one they had to have smaller rims put on till it would fit through the trees without knocking apples off in the fall.

I grew up in the suburbs so we didn't have a tractor. I do like the green color better than the orange tractors that I sometimes see.

I've never been on a tractor, but I love your fascination with them.
Maybe you just like Kenney Chesney? "she thinks my tractor's sexy"? ;)

Kayaking it

We really lucked out to go kayaking on this trip while we were staying at Davy Crockett State Park, TN. So you know ... I have yet to fall out of my kayak .... KNOCK ON WOOD ... knock on your head ...whatever!! My hubby this kayaking trip slipped once going into this kayak right off the bat and then the kayaking completely flipped over was a real COLD adventure but so so cold. & our camping friends ...who don't go kayaking often were wanting to help the hubby but I had it under control ...I had water come up and over the kayak ... I am guessing that would be a good reason to have a skirt on your kayak. Wonder if I could do that on my kind of kayak? Not sure ...but it was so so cold. We made it back all in one piece.

So many bikes, so many unique ones to see and just drool over. Are you a bike fan? If you can remember your childhood, what was the must have bike of that year, I bet it is here in mint condition. So fun!! Harley Davidson made bikes, not just Harleys??! Who knew? So many creators, just so so much history. Are you a history buff, I don't remember all these dates, maybe you could or can? Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care!!! Beth ( ;
