This would be a perfect location for wedding, anniversary parties, birthday parties, whatever u wanna celebrate in your amazing grateful life ...this location would be so awesome!! I will say that sadly an older lady (while we were there did trip and fell down) so please be sure to wear proper footwear ... no sandals or unsteady heels... wear tennis shoes, or boots. Hope you are well today. Be Well & Be Blessed!! Take Care!!! Beth ( ;

You were down in the neck of the woods I grew up in...you should have made a detour to Cumberland Gap, TN and then across to Middlesboro and went on on the Pinnacle overlook! You would have liked it.

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :
