Norton Grist Mill, TN

Norton Grist Mill
Big Ridge State Park, TN

We love seeing mills, it was sad that this was not in operation or in it's original locations but fun to see all the same.

I wish that folks would realize what history these pieces of art have ...covered bridges, mills, parks, whatever ...we need to raise our children and others folks to know that these are precious items. Respect these items, enjoy their beauty & pass them on to the next generation.

Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care!! Be Well & Be Blessed!! Beth ( ;

I agree with you, we need to preserve more of our historical places/homes/bridges. Lovely pictures.

I guess that while Sen. Warren can raise $25 million, but there isn't money for history or healthcare!

Great pictures. I would love to see a mill like that in operation.

Interesting. Most grist mills I've seen are bulkier with strong walls, but maybe they are the ones that usually last for a century or more.
