Normandale Japanese Garden, MN

Normandale Japanese Garden

Of all the gardens we have seen I think that Japanese Gardens are really the most relaxing and peaceful ones to take in ...what is it? I truly have no answer ...but you walk in and immediately they just cause you to be lighter, more calm, more relaxed ...they just are great places to enjoy and just get back to nature. Lots of college kids taking in the calm times, laying in the grass, one was playing some sort of flute, no clue ...but it sure was a peaceful sound to listen to. A free garden, but they do enjoy and appreciate donations. Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you are well. Take Care!! Be Well & Be Blessed. Beth ( ;

it looks like a very pretty place...and it's nice that you felt such a sense of contentment when you visited. i like the bridge, red seems to be a common color in japanese gardens. it was fun to read about how other people were enjoying the garden!!

Yes, I have been to several. I believe there are centuries of design and meaning behind Japanese gardens.
