Macedonia Methodist Church

Macedonia Methodist Church, Coffeytown, Amherst County, VA. 1896. "One story, vernacular Gothic Revival style. rubble stone foundation, gable roof with front bell tower ". Out on a country drive over one weekend in April 2021 we saw this beauty. Really was a gorgeous area ... so picturesque. What a day it was ... so quiet and fun to see this on the side of the road. Enjoy. Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

That little country church reminds me of the one I attended for a few years, before they built a new one. Good memories.

🙂Had me looking up "rubble stone foundation."
There's a lot to learn about foundations - cool.

This looks like it was a super cool church to attend.

love & love,
