Gaddy Covered Bridge

Image
  Gaddy Covered Bridge, Mount Gilead NC "named after the Gaddy family, huge contributors to the founding of the wildlife refuge.." "Gaddy's Wild Goose Refuge 1934-1975 Lockhart and Hazel Gaddy once provided a winter home to over 10,000 Canadian geese. Thousands of visitors from all over world came each year to learn about the value of waterfowl management" Talk about mosquitos, at this covered bridge, I've never seen myself and the hubby walk so fast ...they were out in FULL FORCE ...it was nuts. We were the only 2 around ... wow wee!! It was fun to see. Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

Deep River Camelback Bridge

Image
  Deep River Camelback Bridge, Sandford, NC "truss bridge is a steel camelback truss resting on stone and concrete piers, with a macadam road surface covering a plank deck, it spans the Deep River in NC.." I just love the BUNNY, see them there on the brick pillars, so cute!! When visiting this bridge, the lady in the picture was just sitting there, sometimes I find traveling to be tough in that, you wanna take pictures but when someone will not move, you don't know them to ask ... you just hope that they will not mind being in the pics. Oh well, so fun to see ... we love finding these beauties. Hey there, thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

Ebenezer UMC

  Ebenezer United Methodist Church, NC Right down from our campground "Poplar Point Campground", Apex North Carolina. We had to get up close to check it out, have you noticed that so many of our churches out there that are named after "Ebenezer", (usually you only hear about Ebenezer during Christmas time, so he gets his life straight, on that right path once again) don't ya wonder why? I sure do. LOL! Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;  Linking Up:  "InSPIRED Sunday"
