Gaddy Covered Bridge

Gaddy Covered Bridge, Mount Gilead NC

"named after the Gaddy family, huge contributors to the founding of the wildlife refuge.."

"Gaddy's Wild Goose Refuge 1934-1975 Lockhart and Hazel Gaddy once provided a winter home to over 10,000 Canadian geese. Thousands of visitors from all over world came each year to learn about the value of waterfowl management"

Talk about mosquitos, at this covered bridge, I've never seen myself and the hubby walk so fast ...they were out in FULL FORCE ...it was nuts. We were the only 2 around ... wow wee!! It was fun to see. Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

I didn't remember the name, but I'm pretty sure I've seen that bridge. So nice that you had good photos of it. I notice you don't post often...so I'm really glad to see this. Thanks.
