Mint Hill Historical Society

Mint Hill Historical Society
7601 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC

"A For Sale sign hammered into the front lawn of the old country doctor's building was all the motivation needed to begin the Mint Hill Historical Society. 21 citizens signed the charter in 1985 with the purpose of preserving the history of the area..."

When we were visiting the lady working there that day was telling us that no one was really visiting these days, little ones from different local schools were not visiting, the virus has really put a huge rock in their puddle, hoping that will change again real soon for them, I know they thrive with visitors. It is so fun to see all these historical buildings, really enjoyed our short spot by there. Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

Sure looks like a "cutie-pie" place.
I hope it turns around for them soon.

Mint Hill sounds very Southern! 😃

As does this, "...the virus has really put a huge rock in their puddle"

Love that saying. 💕 I've never heard it before!
