"The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society was founded in 1978 by a group of divers, teachers, and educators to commerce exploration of historic shipwrecks in eastern Lake Superior, near Whitefish Point in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula"

I gotta say, we really try not to anyone in our photos we take to share online, but someone's foot is in there, I mean there is no reason or whatever not to put it in there ...can you say who it is?? KIDDING, but I'm seriously that is never our thought to use someone's photo in our website without their permission but what are you gonna do?? I mean I've gone to the put of not using the photo 'cause I don't wanna or because (can I take a moment to say that I think it is hilarious when google "spell check really doesn't enjoy me using "gotta" (got to), "gonna" (going to) or "wanna" (want to), I get that I am not the best at speaking, I use a lot of world that are probably not proper and whatnot, but come on now, why are these not in there ...they are used by the common folks this day and age??! LOL!!!!!) I know if it was me, I wouldn't want someone to use my face without permission??! YOU KNOW what I mean??

What a fun visit. I always smile as to how google (blogger) lines up my photos, they are not in order of that trip, but I can imagine you will follow okay?? It was a clear blue skied day, perfect boating weather, so lovely ...are you familiar with SS Edmund Fitzgerald?

"American Great Lakes freighter that sank in Lake Superior during a storm on November 10, 1975, with the loss of the entire crew of 29 men..."

Please do recall that if you wish to enlarge photos, click each individual photo and they will enlarge. Go on, check those out. Really detailed, fun and entertaining museum. I've always been curious over boating. Are you familiar with Gordon Lightfoot?

If you are not familiar with that song, be sure to check it out on YouTube. Such a good tune.

"The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is a 1976 hit song written, composed and performed by Canadian singer-songwriter..."

As we walked throughout the museum the hubby and I did wonder if they had paid Gordon Lightfoot rights for using his song? It played and played, we did go on a boat ride, and they even played the song. It is a catchy tune and will for sure get stuck in your mind. ENJOY!! Thank you for stopping by. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( ;

Oh, I remember this song about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

I don’t worry about getting people in my pictures if they are in a public place, unless they are children in which case I need some sort of permission if they are recognizable. In fact, parents are getting so paranoid that you don’t even wanna raise your camera if kids are there.
