Mansfield, Ohio

All views are from the Mansfield, Ohio area. The first would be a bench area from a movie scene. Photo with flower blooms right near the carrousel ...they really take care of their street views ...very quaint and fun. I really love it when cities do the extra mile to make the eyes happy.

This is a free walk around, if you pick to ride, there is a charge of course. So fun to see all these amazing animals. What a great carrousel. Very cool!!! Hope you will get a chance to check it out yourself one day soon. Mansfield is really a gorgeous area of Ohio.

Have you ever seen the movie "The Shawshank Redemption"? It did come out in 1994 with Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman ...so many amazing actors and actresses.

"Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

Now I only most recently saw the movie ...I believe it was near the beginning of my 40's. I am now 44, so that was several yrs. in the past. Memories only carry so far, you know??!?!?!? I just knew it was such a long movie and never was drawn to it ...but I will say after watching I really did enjoy it so, so, so much!! When we were there in Mansfield, I was curious about all of the filming locations, found them interesting to see or trying to recall them from the movie, even though it was not yesterday that I had watched it. & My hubby has never seen the movie, I would have to re-watch it again to include him. He is not one to stop and enjoy movies like myself, he prefers other hobbies. lol!! When I realized the cost of admission into the reformatory (neither of us were in the military nor did we have a coupon. maybe you will have the chance to find one, if you so desire??! I think a huge cost or thought when traveling, you have to give and take, what holds a big interest to you, and your partner/friends, whomever you are traveling with??! It was a time we smiled, say thanks, have a great day & walked out.). It was fun to see, but I don't feel sad we didn't go, we will save that money and use it during other visits (other trips, adventures) to places we see more fit for spending our money. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you are well. See you again soon. Take Care!! Beth ( ;

What an interesting location!
All they film around here are those yummy, sappy Christmas RomComs. Happily they are more diverse these days.
