The hubby has heard of this museum from multiple boat friends, and we just had to check it out. I am so glad we did!!! This museum was a great "rainy day trip", as a traveler you need to have a "rainy day plan". Camelot is great, but it's not realistic ...we all wish for rain only at night, wouldn't that be great??! ...camping and rain sadly they happen together quite often. Don't sugar coat it, as they said, it is something that happens, and we have to adjust to life's challenges, be able to fly, jump or whatever needs to happen to keep it fun and entertaining. I appreciate BOATS but they are not my go to for finding enjoyment, excitement or laughter: LOL!! I am being silly, but I am feeling you will know my point; I will always go to places that I can appreciate but it doesn't mean I longed to visit or go there. I guess it is all in what you love and wish for in life. RIGHT? What are your hobbies? What do you enjoy? I would think if you visit on a different day you might see other folks working, they have multiple buildings, but a few were not open the day we were there ...maybe they will be open when you go??! "Bar U Ranch" , National Historic Site. Established in 1882, it was huge ranching operation  "even more info here." .  if you know anything about me, you will know I have always wanted to live on a farm, own a farm, have horses, cows, dogs, cats, garden, fields, quiet & peace the whole 9 or is it 10 yards.   Backbone Rock Tunnel, Shady Valley, Tennessee "spur ridge on Holston Mtn that abruptly ends at a bend in Beaverdam Creek. tunnel was drilled through rock in 1901 to allow railroad access between Shady Valley and Damascus, Virginia" Hey There, don't ya love it when you are driving along and find a neat spot? …this tunnel was a busier road, got to see it from both sides of the road ...very cool. Bass Pro Shop, "Memphis Pyramid", in Tennessee. We always enjoy visiting Brass Pro Shops around the USA. They are so always so creative, all different and interesting to see what they will be sharing. We are not fisher people. we just can appreciate the business. All sorts of games to play. Shopping. Lodging. Restaurants. In the brochure you can get at the front door this quote can be seen... "Ride the tallest freestanding elevator in America. Experience a ride to the top of the Pyramid in the 28-story glass elevator. Once you are at the top, stand on glass-floored observation decks that offer 360-degree views 300 feet above Memphis and the Mississippi River."
