Glad you stopped in today, we had a recent trip to New York, trying to get away from the heat of summer, during late June 2024. Apparently the whole east coast was dealing with a real heat wave, BIG OOPIES, on that, normally we go north and can hide out in the shade and love the weather they have during that season of the year. Didn't work this time, oh well, maybe next year. Sorry for the photo being all out of order, if i could figure how to keep Google from not getting them all mixed up, so i decided to number them. #7 and #10 are the bridge from the movie "It's A Wonderful Life", Seneca Falls, New York. "museum": The museum is located on: 76 Fall Street, opens 11 AM.

"Local Bedford Falls nostalgia attraction with displays & memorabilia from the namesake film."

#9 is Taughannock Falls, #8 (as well as 3, 2, and 1 are in that same walking path area, before the huge waterfall can be seen, if you are making a plan to visit yourself, so gorgeous!!! The path near the huge foot waterfall is covered in moss and quite slippery) is myself standing a bit before the waterfalls, where the path does sort of mix in there with some paths that are meant for walking only, as a person who riding through on your bike I often wonder where you are suppose to leave your bike when these paths change back and forth, I wonder if they think of that???!!

Black Diamond Trail, Ithaca, NY 14850
"old line that was once the flagship passenger line of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. known as the Black Diamond Express. service ran from 1896 to 1959. 8.5 miles stone-dust path, to 215 foot waterfall, Taughannock Falls"

#4 is buffaloes, across from the parking spot near the Black Diamond Trail, there are just bits of gravel you just pull over and park, some are very close to homes so you need to be respectful and realize that you need to stay close to the trail, instead of being near their driveways and whatnot.

#5 & #6 New Hope Mill, New York, in the town of Niles in Cayuga County, New York, 2 vernacular dwelling, 1910 gambrel roofed storage barn, 1935 saw mill, 2 concrete faced dams, 1 acre mill pond. partly built in 1823.

We really enjoy bike trails and when they have the chance to see some historical places and views it is just too fun!!! Such a memorable experience even if the Air BNB didn't work out. I don't enjoy sharing about experiences that don't work out here on the blog, prefer only to share ones that we love and wish to share with you in hopes that maybe you 2 can go and enjoy as well. Or if you are not able to go that you 2 will enjoy the pics I share with you. Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Beth ( :

What a great trail to follow, as well as the bridge from the movie! I wonder if bikes are supposed to give way to pedestrians on trail sharing. But it sounds pretty difficult to practice.

Fantastic waterfall! I have to post my first picture on my blog, go back and select the next few and post them, and so on. I remember when this worked better in the early days of Blogger, but then they updated it.
