All About E

"E. Lizard Breath Speaks" who is that??? I'm Elizabeth, "E" for short, friends and family call me "Beth". My home has always been Virginia. My main blog started on October 12, 2011 called it "E." Lizard Breath Speaks". On October 14, 2014, I started "Hike 2 Forty and beyond", chat all things books. I change my travel (main) blog to "E. Lizard Breath Travels". You want readers who stop by to get your point, what are you going to chat on, share about. I did have an author tell me that, she knows who she is, & THANKS for the advice!! Well, once I got to the rip ole' age forty, I knew I had to come up with another name for my book blog so it became: "E. Lizard Breath Reads". My hubby found a hull so we had to start "Mr. E Boat", where we chat 'bout the history of the boat, how it all began and hoping to get it completed before 2060. In March 2020, I got the bright idea to shorten those blog names: "E. Travels" and "E. Reads".

About "E. Travels":
We have been so lucky to have traveled 48 states!

Started in a "Kodiak" tent, loved it. Just miss it to pieces.
Then we started camping in a "Roadtrek, 170 Popular, 2008". Which is where we really did the most of our US traveling in. Those wheels got around!!! But it was so small. Now we have a "Casita, Independence Deluxe, 2015". We had it done up with lots of modifications, we traveled to Rice, Texas to pick it up and never have looked back. We really enjoy it. Can't imagine going bigger and sure don't wanna go ANY smaller!!! I guess it feels the most smallest in the rain ...when we camp it doesn't RAIN!! I mean the skies are always CLEAR, BRIGHT & HAPPY. (kidding.) If you ever wanna ask me what our favorite places, eats, whatever it might be please do, we have lots of tips, tricks & must see places, if you might be curious??! With only Alaska & Hawaii left to check out. We love saying that and getting folks reactions, so funny!! Always shocks people!! We've traveled 7 provinces of Canada.
Hope to get overseas one day soon.

Dells Mill, Augusta, Wisconsin

"Dells Mill", in Augusta, Wisconsin ...was a huge learning experience. Gus Clark, the museum guide was so great.

i just went to the website, to share the link with you guys and i see that Gus did pass away. i am trying to check my notes to see when we were there. we were trying to recall the day. my parents anniversary is August 24th. apparently the day he past away. (he was telling us that he did have some health issues, no details, but i thought he looked ok?) he was so cool. he was very descriptive and so fun to listen too. the mill had been in his family for years. he was just like a real history book. such a loss. (i just checked my notes we were there Thurs. 8/21) i hope he knew we enjoyed our visit. we told him so. thanked him for his time & explained we love seeing the odd, the different & the usual places throughout the US.

mills are becoming far and few. sad but true. ) :

Pyramid Lake Resort

We had dinner at "Pyramid Lake Resort". We were camping at the Wapiti campground within Jasper National Park. We were so happy to find the restaurant ...some times we just head thinking we want to find the 1st great looking place to try out. & thankfully this was a great pick, check out these views we got to see while eating this fabulous meal. This meal was one of the best meals we had all of our whole Canadian trip. It was a amazing!! 1. appetizer, 2. I had halibut, 3. hubby had elk, and 4. was the pyramid chocolate yummyness. it was delicious!! Are you now hungry? Beth ( :
