Traveling E ...

"Oark General Store" Oark, Arkansas . We had lunch there, going on pure memory, 'cause, silly me didn't write it down, & I could have swore we took pics of the food? but they are no where to be found, just these?!? 2 HUGE burgers, fries, onion rings, & 2 pieces of pie to go ... 1 buttermilk and 1 other kind of pie, thinking cherry, but the buttermilk was so different that really sticks out. Just delicious, very tasty. Almost forgot my t-shirt I got as a souvenir. This great restaurant has such character, rural area, quiet ... kind of like Cheers, "Where everybody knows your name" kind of place... all of local dudes were there gossiping hanging out on the front porch, around their truck, shooting the breeze. & They say women talk to much, ha. ha??!?!  ( :  Thank you for stopping by today. I was going through my notes trying to recall the name of this lake & I didn't write it any where in my notes, I had to do a bit of googling ...  "Lake Bailey" , there within Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton, Arkansas. This was our 2nd trip to this state park, such an amazing part of Arkansas,  Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton, Arkansas . I really enjoy hiking throughout the park, so many different trails to see & enjoy!!! It was kind of an overcast day, moments of rain, slight wind or breeze. Ok, I have to ask ...I know this state park is on the Mississippi River, but it's not in Mississippi, it's in Arkansas? Am I the only one that was like, what??! Very odd state park ...let me explain please. You are driving through not the best of area, & it becomes more rural. Including more trees and grass, suddenly the state park with this huge set of buildings. Which include the Visitor Center, restrooms, conference rooms, etc. etc. Not sure why it is all there, but the landscaping is very nice? Enjoy the vlog from that morning's sunrise.
