Moore SP, Massachusetts

  Moore State Park, 1 Sawmill Road, Paxton, MA 01612 spans 400 acres and is located in the heart of Massachusetts.  Between the 18th and early 20 centuries, it was home to grist and saw mills ... Hagood Mill, SC

  "Prater's Creek Bridge (plague by the bridge) Built by the Greenville Steel & Foundry Company in 1930, this bridge served the people of Pickens County for over seventy years at two locations. It was originally installed over the Twelve Mile River on Wolf Creek Road and moved in the late 1900's to Praters Creek on Morning Side Drive. Brought here in 2007, the bridge was cleaned by volunteers, painted by county inmates and installed by Pickens County Roads & Bridges in 2009. Steel bridges like this were common all across the county in the last century but were gradually replaced because they were too narrow for two cars to pass each other."   High Falls Covered Bridge in DuPont Forest Buck Forest Road, Hendersonville, NC "The Covered Bridge was constructed in the late 1990s as part of a planned, gated Cliff's Community housing project. The founders of Friends of DuPont Forest launched a successful campaign to save the waterfalls from development. When the waterfall corridor (the area that includes Triple Falls, High Falls, and Hooker Falls) became State land, the bridge was included." These spots were so fun to see, we made it to Rural King for tractor shopping, no purchasing just doing some research ...got some vinegar ...it was $2.99 a bottle ...so more reasonable than groceries stores these days. Found some vases at the local Goodwill. Had lunch, gasoline and got some coffee from Sheetz. Made it to several shops that the hubby has been wishing to check out because previously visits they have been closed so that made him super happy!!!
