Before we get into the good amazing pics I am going to share today ... let me talk a bit of every day life ... what has been happening with me. The hubby and I went on a trip over 2 wks ago ...to enjoy a Casita rally in Arkansas, was hoping for cooler temps. It was a real ball. Met lots of new friends and got to see some super awesome buddies. I had gone all summer not seeing in copperheads and was super happy about that ... was hoping my go for copper was going well ... well during that rally i got to see one and then came home to start my yearly fall chore of raking leaves and there was one to greet me. LUCKY ME. not!!! All good ... life goes on ... but Let me tell ya it was not fun. How come we have not heard much about the gas leak in Alabama recently ... it did affect us while traveling home through Nashville ...scared the pooh out of me ... I was wondering if we would make it home. Apparently it will only affect southern Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama ... I might

The clouds & sun were playing on the waters, what great times to take photos. ( O : =   This area has so many different campground on different parts of the dam/lake. Yates Mill County Park, North Carolina

Image
"Yates Mill County Park" , Raleigh, North Carolina. 174 acres park. Lots of hiking trails. Misty day. What we were guessing was an engagement photos as well as a family portrait time happened while we were visiting this mill. The engagement photo would be in the upper left of photo #1 and lower right of the same photo would be the family portrait. Beth just really wanted a shot of the mill, excuse me folks, could you please move?? Nope, they were totally in their own worlds, not realizing that others wanted shots of the mill without them in them. Some folks are clueless. Sorry, I am not trying to be a booger, but when I take photos, I jump in ... take some shots, rapid fired off real quick and then I get the heck out way. Other people these days just don't seem that kind? Why is that??!!  Thank you kindly for stopping by, I appreciate you time. Have a great day!  Beth ( ;

Little Pee Dee State Park, South Carolina

Happy Labor Day!! I always wonder about this thing called Labor Day, who decided to call it that? Was everyone in labor or what? Here's what google thinks:  "A public holiday or day of festivities held in honor of working people, in the US & Canada on the 1st Monday in Sept. in many other countries on May 1st". "Little Pee Dee State Park", Dillon, South Carolina . I think this was one of the most friendliest state parks, meaning the camp hosts actually stopped by, asked us where we were from, how long we were staying & just really went out of their way to make use feel welcome and thanked us for stopping by. I don't ever recall visiting a state park that has ever had dirt roads & I do wonder what they would be like on a rainy day? I bet they would a muddy mess. My Dad had to tell me that my 3 great aunts used to visit this state park when he was younger Mat, Meta & Min were there names. I only knew Meta, who made it till her 99
