HEY THERE, friends thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are well. I wanna share with you my recent trip to Grayson Highlands SP.  We were there June 15 - 17, 2018. It was a quick weekend trip. We stop by the Virginia Creeper Trail and just enjoyed the day. We always make a point to go during this time of the year to get away from the heat and humidity. The temps there at Grayson are so much nicer and a bit cooler. I've lost count of how many times we have visited this SP? 5 or 6 times? Such a gorgeous area of Virginia. ENJOY!! Check out these past posts from different trips to Grayson Highland State Park, Virginia:  "Oct 31, 2016" , "Sept. 17, 2015" & "Sept 14, 2015"  (those dates are when I did post not when were did visit, just so you know. Maybe it will make you wanna make a planned trip, you will so love every second, making lots of memories, be sure to take lots of pictures!!). Have a great day. See next time. Be Well &

Giant City State Park, 235 Giant City Road, Makanda, Illinois (618) 457-4836. It was a gorgeous day for a hike, so we took a nice hike around this trail. I was trying to recall the length ...just nice one. Just right. Can you see me? A balancing rock there, makes you wonder how long ago it was settled in like that? Will it ever move or what???!?!?!? Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you are well. Take Care. Be Well & Be Blessed!!! Beth ( ;

We did try to get your camper friends to go with us on a trip a bit farther away from Gunn Creek Campground, but they didn't I feel understand the love for art and just feeling like a kid. Adults can always be a kid ...you never will lose your kid like self ...if you do things you love. We are not players of Dungeons and Dragons, BUT WE LOVE ART. Art of all sorts, when you are creative you just show your passion... a passion for so so so many things ... art of cars, people, jewelry, camping, whatever ... ART is ART. Never allow any one to tell you that what you are doing is not art. Dungeons and Dragons Park (Castle Park) Carbondale, Illinois. 31 Homewood Drive, Carbondale, IL. Admission: Free, but donations are welcome. " Sword and sorcery lives in a misty, undefined time, but the dawn of Dungeons & Dragons Park can be pinpointed: August 22, 1993. It was on that date that 19-year-old Jeremy "Boo" Rochman died in a car crash on Giant City Road, onl

Main St. Benton, IL 62812, Phone: (618) 438-0563. I wish, wish, WISH I had taken a picture or 2 of the pizzas we did have ... each couple got a different pizza and that gave us all a chance to try so many of their amazing PIZZAS. They were DELICIOUS!!! greek, hawaiian, taco, stuffed, veggie, SO MANY OPTIONS, you will love it promise!!! So some one recommended going to see this museum. It is a FREE museum, however they would appreciate a donation. I believe one of the campers had seen a bit about it in the travel brochure. I think??! Any who we stopped on by. The lady there was so fun and she told us amazing story (history of this place!!!) Address: 511 N Main St, Benton, IL 62812, Hours: Open ⋅ Closes 6PM, Phone: (618) 438-2121.
