Fred Hamilton Gardens, Hiawassee, GA, This was a free gardens, we did make a donation while we were there just to be kind. Not many folks walking around the folks working there did say we should have been there the week before, 'cause that was when all the rhododendron were in full bloom. Is that not how it always is??! You never seem to be in an area when you need to be ... but there were a few blooms leftover. The hubby when planning our trips always looks to see if there are FREE gardens and other spots in an area just to check out while you are in that neck of the woods. WHY NOT? You never know what you might see!! So fun ...nice exercise. These gardens are so well taken care of ...gorgeous details ...so they have really gone the extra mile.  Phone: 706-896-4191 - Address: 1311 Music Hall Road, Hiawassee Georgia 30546 - Located 1 mile west of Hiawassee Georgia on US 76 Hours and Fees Garden hours of operation are 9 am - 3 pm daily.

There is a fee of $3.00 per person (ages 16 & up) to visit Anna Ruby Falls. Anna Ruby Falls is open daily (weather permitting) from 9AM - 6PM. Nobody admitted on the trail after 5PM. Please enjoy this vlog from that day. So pretty. Lots of folks walking around. I meant to get a picture of this warning about "copperheads" ...they called them friendly, don't be afraid they did say ... if you leave them alone they will leave you alone? I a
